Ensuring Couples are Only Ever a Place Setting Apart

January 2021 Brown’s Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Mayfair, is pleased to launch new Valentine’s Day meal delivery experiences for couples to enjoy in the comfort of their own homes, with a tempting Afternoon Tea and a Charlie’s Cooking Workshop. Even if couples are unable to be together, Brown’s will ensure that they only feel a place setting apart.

Brown’s Hotel is providing the ultimate delectable and virtual dining experiences this Valentine’s Day. For those unable to spend the day with their loved ones, Brown’s has launched an Afternoon Tea delivery that can be divided in two and delivered with love to two separate addresses. For those fortunate enough to be living in the same household, Brown’s can deliver the exact ingredients for a delicious three-course menu straight to their door and Brown’s Hotel’s Head Chefs will guide them on how to assemble the dishes via video.

‘Only a Place Setting Apart’ Valentine’s Afternoon Tea Delivery

With couples that will be forced to spend the day apart in mind, Brown’s is ensuring they are only a place setting apart this Valentine’s Day.  Upon receiving one order, Brown’s will deliver the Afternoon Tea to the two designated households for couples to enjoy the sweet delicacies and share the experience together, virtually.

Brown’s Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea includes the hotel’s award-winning delicacies with romantic additions, including chocolate-dipped strawberries, and a red velvet and chocolate mousse cake with a raspberry glazed heart (vegan options are also available), coupled with a half-bottle of Ruinart Rosé Champagne.

Charlie’s Valentine’s Delivery and Cooking Workshop

Brown’s three-course Charlie’s Valentine’s Menu delivery has everything couples need to whip up an extravagant banquet in their own kitchen. Brown’s will source and deliver all the ingredients and invite them to take part in an interactive cooking workshop led by the hotel’s Head Chefs, James Wills, and Matthew Starling.

The feast commences with luxurious canapés, sharing courses and venison en-croute. Finally, couples will enjoy a raspberry, rose and lychee charlotte dessert, and Champagne and strawberry truffles to finish.

For an added level of romance, guests can add a bouquet of flowers from Brown’s in-house florist, Ellie Hartley, of Ellie Hartley Flowers, to their order.

Brown’s Hotel is also running a competition for any bookings for Valentine's Afternoon Tea, offering one lucky winner to win a romantic stay for two, following the hotel’s reopening.

Brown’s Hotel is offering the Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea Delivery (A Place Setting Apart, delivered to two addresses) for £86.00 per person or £170 combined including the half bottle of Ruinart Rose Champagne (excludes delivery costs). The Rosé Champagne Afternoon Tea is priced at £130 for two (delivered to one address).

Brown’s Hotel is offering the Charlie’s Valentine’s Delivery and Cooking Workshop (ingredients delivered and video with the Head Chefs) for £180 for two people, excluding wine and delivery costs.

Bouquets of flowers from Ellie Hartley Flowers can be added to both the Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea Delivery and Charlie’s Valentine’s Menu from £30 for a bouquet of pink roses.

Brown’s Hotel

Brown’s Hotel is quintessentially British with a hint of the unexpected. London’s first hotel boasts 115 authentically-designed rooms and suites designed by Olga Polizzi. Each plays tribute to the hotel’s illustrious heritage and world-renowned charm. The Kipling Suite, the jewel in Brown’s crown of suites, honours Rudyard Kipling who famously wrote ‘The Jungle Book’ at the hotel. Home to some of London’s finest dining experiences, Brown’s signature Donovan Bar takes inspiration from its namesake, iconic 1960’s photographer Terence Donovan; Charlie’s, the restaurant, serves contemporary British fare with European influences; and The Drawing Room, where Queen Victoria took tea, honours the quintessentially British custom of serving traditional afternoon tea. Welcome to Brown’s Hotel. Where history endures and the legacy continues.
