Hotel de la Ville debuts a new wellness destination,

with the De La Ville Spa at its heart

Hotel de la Ville, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Rome, is delighted to present the De La Ville Spa, the new wellness sanctuary in the heart of the bustling city.  Inspired by the rich landscape of Sicily, the 550-square-metre spa promotes spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health.

The spa weaves-in the island’s culture with a colourful, singular design, natural materials, live plant walls, and the delicious floral scent of orange blossom. The treatment area includes 5 single rooms and a double suite with a Rasul for Sicilian mud rituals. The thermal area is equipped with a Mediterranean salt room, a sauna, a steam room, an ice fountain, Kneipp foot baths, a hydro pool and a plunge pool. Infra-red heated loungers are set in the relaxing area, complete with soothing videos of nature.

Central to the treatments is the newly launched Irene Forte Skincare, a multi-benefit and sustainable line, inspired by Sicily and handmade in Italy. Created by the group’s Wellness Director Irene Forte, it is the Mediterranean diet for your skin. The line is complemented with treatments from Pietro Simone Skincare, a peptide-infused age-defying line, also made in Italy. The spa’s advanced facials and body treatments are combined with LED, Ultrasonic Cleansing and Endosphères. The latter includes Endosphères Eva for the face, a non-invasive machine for facial contouring and lifting, as well as Endosphères Body, for body contouring, muscle toning, lymphatic drainage, cellulite reduction and pain relief, both offering truly outstanding results.

The fitness centre is equipped with the latest Technogym equipment, including their skill range, and is open 24-hours-a day. There is also a studio for Barrecore, Pilates and Yoga classes. Workouts are also available in-room or around the city, including sightseeing jogging and cycling, or rooftop Yoga overlooking the Eternal City.  Tools have also been created to help nurture the mind. Guests can turn to their televisions for in-room Mindfulness, or opt for the Meditation and Mindfulness lessons with an experienced meditation guru.

The hotel offers health-focused menus created by Creative Food Director and famous chef, Fulvio Pierangelini. Using organic, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, the meals are carefully prepared to protect their nutritional value and promote a nourishing Mediterranean diet. The dishes are available in all the outlets, on the breakfast buffet, and in In-Room Dining.

The DLV Club, an exclusive membership programme, unites all the Rocco Forte Wellness pillars: Spa, Fitness, Mind, Nourish, Community and Sustainability. There are four different membership options, which can be tailored to guests’ specific needs. Day passes are also available and customisable.

Hotel de la Ville successfully launched in May 2019 atop the Spanish Steps with sweeping views of the Eternal City. Designed by Tommaso Ziffer in collaboration with Olga Polizzi, Director of Design for Rocco Forte Hotels, Hotel de la Ville is an elegant retreat in the heart of Rome. At the centre of the extensive food and beverage offering is Cielo, the rooftop bar with magnificent sunset views.
